FIELD NOTE

The SDK is part of the operating contract

HASiL's 17 July 2026 SDK 1.0 release notes introduce new document versions for the e-Invoice Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme and clarify tax-exempt transaction treatment. The notes advise taxpayers and service providers to update integrations to support the applicable versions.

This is not a reason to change production blindly. It is a reason to have a release process that can identify affected document types, run representative test cases, and record which version was approved for use.

FIELD NOTE

Build a change-control loop

The technical team should connect the SDK release feed to the people responsible for tax operations, finance, support, and integration maintenance.

  • Subscribe to official release signals
  • Keep document fixtures under version control
  • Test tax-exempt and SVDP cases separately
  • Record environment and API version
  • Reconcile after every integration release

FIELD NOTE

Do not confuse a document update with advice

A specification can explain what the system accepts; it does not decide what your business should report. Keep the boundary clear between technical mapping, accounting policy, and tax advice.

That separation makes the implementation more credible and gives operators a place to escalate uncertainty instead of hiding it inside code.

DIRECT ANSWERS

Questions operators ask

Why do SDK release notes matter to a business user?+

Because a document or validation change can affect whether an integration submits, rejects, or records a transaction correctly.

Should a business implement every new document version immediately?+

Review the official applicability, test the affected workflow, and coordinate with finance or a qualified adviser before enabling a version in production.
